Surely eating loads of Vegan goodies whilst simultaneously donating money to a good cause sounds to good to be true?
Not at all, that's exactly what the Worldwide Vegan bake sale is all about!
From April 24th until May 2nd groups all around the world will be cooking up a storm and running their own bake sales, educating the world about the potential tastiness of vegan food whilst donating profits to a wide variety of charities, last years entrants raised over $25,000 and this year looks to be even bigger. Australia has several events running, mainly in NSW, but it's not too late to still run your own, visit www.veganbakesale.org/veganbakesale/vbs-signup.html for more information.
