I never know the best way to share photos, so I'm going to link to a Flickr slideshow, that will do for now...

Victoria's Sate of Design festival is on until the 25th and whilst I can't actually afford to attend most of the events I want to, I did have the good fortune to attend several inspiring events.

Firstly I acquired two free tickets to the festivals launch, we weren't allowed to take photos but saw a Melbourne Exhibition centre full of Australia's best products and designers, from craftsters to Industrial designers.

Next I up attended the Department of counter culture's launch which took place on the Myer bridge in Melbourne Central, an apt if strange and slightly cheeky choice of venue. The very next day was Social Studio's fashion parade, I'll let the photos talk for themselves!
