The Biona Cola Bottles have the best texture of any vegan ‘gummy’ product I have encountered. With no added beet or cane sugar, they’re not particularly sweet but the cola flavour is excellent. The tiny 75g pack retails for around $4.99 but they’re worth it as a special treat for yourself or the kids.

Biona also makes Carnival plain chocolate drops that are reminiscent of ‘smarties’. The have a crunchy, coloured outer shell and a soft chocolate inside. These do have some added sugar but again, are not overly sweet. The brightly coloured shells make them a great option for decorating birthday cakes. The 60g packet will also set you back $4.99.
