As if subjecting us to the stupidity of Sam Neill and Sam Kekovich wasn’t enough, Meat and Livestock Australia has teamed up with Australian Wool Innovation to develop ways to make even more money from sheep production.
The new program, indiscreetly named ‘Making More From Sheep’, will help wool and sheep meat producers improve both productivity and profitability.
The program modules include topics such as market focused wool; lamb and sheep meat production; being a capable and confident producer; turning pasture into product; genetics; and weaning more lambs. One has to wonder what this means in terms of treatment for the sheep being exploited on farms participating in the program.
More info about the Making More From Sheep program can be found here.
