The vegan community in Australia is vibrant and active. There are many amazing groups and individuals making contributions to make our lives better. We want to showcase some of the best products, places and businesses in order to recognise that Australia offers vegans amazing choice and quality in living a vegan lifestyle.

There are ten categories open for nomination:

1. Best Aussie veg restaurant*

2. Australia’s most vegan-friendly city

3. Best vegan beer

4. Best vegan wine

5. Best mock meat dish or product

6. Best soy/non-dairy product

7. Best vegan dessert dish or product

8. Best vegan chocolate

9. Favourite Aussie vegan business

10. Best Aussie vegan website/blog

*vegetarian or vegan restaurant, but must be vegan-friendly

Please note that nominated products must be available for purchase in Australia. Nominations are open to the public now and close on 29 February 2008. Voting in all categories will commence in March and will be available via the aduki website. Voting closes midnight on 25 April 2008 with winners to be announced on 1 May 2008. The winners will receive a trophy of recognition from aduki independent press and be profiled on aduki online.
