The reception featured an all-vegan feast prepared by the couple’s personal chef, David Silberkleit. And for the cutting of the cake, the pair sliced into a vegan red velvet cake created by Sweet Lady Jane .

Although Ellen’s not a vegetarian, it’s great to see high profile people raising awareness for, and thereby ‘normalising’, vegan food. Hopefully she will now take the next step and move to a meat-free diet.
