 Dutch chocolate maker, Bonvita, has just released
a new vegan bar – Organic Rice Milk Couverture Tablet with Organic Coffee
Pieces. The coffee chocolate has a wonderfully rich and deep taste, which would
be thoroughly enjoyable...if it weren’t for the texture.
Coffee bean shards make up at least a third of the chocolate bar, lying in wait
and becoming stuck in between your teeth, not to mention grating against the
tongue rather painfully. If you can manage the texture, then you will be
rewarded with an intriguing coffee infused chocolate, the flavour of which does
make it compulsively more-ish.
Available from vegan retailers, health food shops and organic grocers, the
Bonvita rice milk chocolate bars retail for $6.50 (100g) and can also be purchased
directly from the Australian distributor .
