It's a little vague, but blogs may be the new black. For quite some time now,
blogging has been overused, yet appreciated, by almost everyone. Aspiring
writers of this generation have worshipped the art of blogging, turning it into
a trend. There are so many, but one of which I found rather charming is the GreenRenters blog.
You will be relieved
to find that it's not just another blog packed with clichés. At first it may
appear slightly dull and understated, but don't let its simplicity turn you off
because as you begin to read it, what you will learn is unique, useful and
refreshing. The first line in the greeting indicates that the writers are
renters (obviously) who can never seem to own their own property. I can truly
relate to that.
Browse around and you'll be fascinated by the versatile collection of food
recipes, reviews, tips and diary entries which are insightful. Who knew you
could still pursue gardening if your backyard was limited to concrete and your landlord won't let you dig a hole? Half of
the appeal of GreenRenters is the
authors’ knowledge and the other half in its pictures. The blog is not too text
heave and posts are accompanies by some mouth watering photographs. A bit
different, a bit simple but all the same delightful. This blog invites you into
a place where being green is a whole lot better than being any other colour.
I was thrilled that there were individuals as devout and motivated as these two,
who were not only concerned about convenience, but emanated a belief to protect
the environment. Preserving natural resources is a priority even if that means
they are restricted from luxuries. There should be more blogs which have the
intention to inspire us to act, and make more ethical and thoughtful choices
about how we live. Whether you rent, have your own home or still live with your
parent (like me!), taking some time to read this blog may enlighten your views
on leading a sound existence. The GreenRenters
blog is a step closer to shaping an ideal world in the comfort of your own
rented home. You don't even need to blog, the work’s already done for you.
