 Fancy yourself as Melbourne’s
best vegan baker? The chance to show off your skills has arrived. In a
throwback to the Country Women’s Association, aduki independent press is
hosting ‘The Great Vegan Bake-Off’ on Saturday 9 August. So, strap on your
gingham apron and get baking!
Entries will be judged by author Leigh Drew to celebrate the launch of her new
vegan cookbook, Vegan Indulgence .
Leigh will be joined by Emily Clark (aduki) and Michael
Linden (Las Vegan Bakery) in her quest to crown Melbourne’s best.
If you’re not much of a baker, come along anyway to witness proceedings and partake
in the eating of the entries once judging has concluded. Everyone is welcome!
For those wanting to enter, the rules are:
1. It must be vegan
2. You must have made it yourself (but the recipe doesn’t need to be your own)
3. It must be sweet!
4. Entry is FREE and prizes will be awarded to First, Second and Third
placegetters
You need to bring your dish pre-cooked and pre-sliced and register by 2.30pm.
